Services on offer with NDIS
What is Childosophy?
Childosophy is a child centred modality facilitated by children’s wellbeing practitioners who have trained with Dr Maxine Therese. Childosophy sees the child as whole and uses Dr Therese's groundbreaking work into a new needs model for children called the Foundational Needs Model.
This model accounts for the persons wholeness at each age and stage and in accord with each individual's needs no matter what their diagnosis.
Childosophy places a strong emphasis on one's feeling nature and emotions.
A treatment supports participants to understand the reason beneath their behaviours. The Childosophy process is self – directed, and supports children and adults to self regulate. A treatment with a practitioner helps both child and adults understand what they need by way of their behaviours and offers a variety of ways to meet these needs.
