Welcome, I'm Rachael!

I’m a mother of three beautiful children—aged 12, 8, and 1—and I’ve lived in Lara, just outside of Geelong, my whole life. Except for one life-changing adventure: in 2022, my partner and I packed up our lives and travelled around Australia in a caravan for 14 months with our children. It was during that sacred time on the road that I trained to become a Childosophy practitioner. That decision marked a huge turning point in how I parent, how I see the world, and how I support others.

I’ve always felt deeply connected to the emotional world of children. Before becoming a mother at 20, I worked in childcare and completed my Diploma in Children’s Services. Later, I added a Diploma in Community Services. While these gave me helpful tools, I always felt there was something deeper missing—especially when I became a parent myself and realised the 'one size fits all' approach didn’t align with the uniqueness of my children.

I found my way to Childosophy during a time of personal health crisis. My body was sending me strong messages that I couldn’t ignore any longer, and yet traditional medicine didn’t offer the depth of understanding I was craving. I felt more disconnected after each appointment, and less able to make sense of what was really going on beneath the surface. That experience cracked something open in me—it asked me to stop, listen, and seek a new way forward.

When I found Childosophy, it felt like coming home. It gave me the tools to understand the messages behind my symptoms, to hold space for my emotions without fear, and to see my children through a more compassionate and intuitive lens. This approach honours the wholeness of a child—it recognises that behaviours are not problems to fix, but expressions of something deeper waiting to be heard.

Now, as a practitioner, I hold space for children, parents, and people of all ages to explore their inner world with kindness and curiosity. I believe in giving children a voice, and in creating safe, non-judgmental spaces where they feel seen, valued, and respected. I also believe that when parents begin to understand themselves more deeply, they naturally begin to connect more meaningfully with their children.

Childosophy has helped me to step more fully into my truth—not just as a mother, but as a whole human. And it’s my greatest honour to walk alongside others on their own journeys of healing and discovery. If you’re feeling called to reconnect with yourself, to better understand your child, or simply to explore the wisdom already within you—I’d love to support you. I’m so glad you’re here!
