Sophia Averbuj has a background in social work and adult education and has additionally invested years studying religious and spiritual practices. Her central interest in childhood trauma and it’s healing spans all these fields and has led her to Childosophy™, a practice she has witnessed gently transform not only individuals but also families and communities.

 

Sophia’s deep respect for human experience makes her a Childosophy™ Practitioner who is easy to trust. People report working with her as an empowering and collaborative experience and value her intuition, empathy and playfulness.

Sophia co-parents a feisty eight-year-old and cares for her elderly mother. Originally from Melbourne Sophia spent many years overseas and now lives in Torquay and enjoys her new wetsuit. She embraces her Greek heritage, values cultural differences, and is consciously working on the relationship between Australia’s First and Second peoples and the land we all share.
