Frequently asked questions

IICT

1/ Will Dr Maxine run all the training sessions?

Yes - all core training content is delivered exclusively by Dr Maxine Thérèse, ensuring depth, consistency and direct access to the original framework and methodology. with assistance from senior Childosophy Practitioners. Senior practitioners have extensive experience in their role and will be under the direction of Dr Maxine at all times. Their role during the training will be to provide support.

2/ Why is Day 5 optional?

Day 5 is a community event that will be open to the public to provide you with networking opportunities and showcasing aligned businesses. It is a chance to get to know the community and graduates in a casual environment. It is also a celebration of what you have achieved - it is a fun day!

3/ Will I be fully accredited after the course?

Yes - provided you have completed all the required pre-course and during course work including case studies that will be assessed during the training. Prior to practicing as a Childosophy Practitioner, you will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check, insurance with IICT and sign the Childosophy Practitioner forms including the integrity and ethics form.

4/ Who is IICT?

IICT provides professional membership and access to Childosophy insurance cover to protect you, no matter where you are on your complementary therapy journey. As a Childosophy practitioner, you can rely on IICT to provide the credibility and cover to protect you while you practice. Learn more by clicking on the image to the right.

5/ What pre-course work will I be required to complete?

Our four-day intensive certifcation is packed with theory, practical examples and hands-on work. In order to be prepared for this we require you to complete the online Soul Led Parenting program which you will receive access to prior to the in-person training. There is also the expectation that you will complete some homework throughout the duration of the course.

6/ What is included in my resource pack?

Your resource pack includes: A copy of The Push for a Child Philosophy by Dr Maxine, a copy of The Wonder of You journal, a set of Childosophy Children's Wellbeing cards, a Childosophy Children's Colouring book, samples of the Childosophy Flower Essences, Wellbeing Chart and your course resource handbook.

7/ What is not included in my investment?

We do not cover costs for transportation, accommodation, parking, food or drinks. We do however provide tea, coffee and morning and afternoon tea. You are welcome to bring your lunch from home or there are cafes in the vicinity where you can purchase food from.

8/ What does the free first year registration cover?

Your first year registration is included in the training investment. This covers your official listing as a registered Childosophy Practitioner and access to ongoing practitioner resources and updates via the practitioner portal. Ongoing registration fee after your first year is currently $150.

9/ Can I teach Childosophy once certified?

No - as part of the registration requirements you agree not to teach, sell, copy, distribute or provide any aspect of Dr Maxine Thérèse’s intellectual property that you are not authorised or qualified to deliver. Teaching of the 10-step process and associated techniques is conducted solely by Dr Maxine Thérèse.

10/ Do practitioners receive distributor pricing for products? 

Yes. Graduates receive access to distributor pricing on Childosophy products, allowing you to incorporate these resources into your professional offerings. There is a minimum order amount of $250 and some products are printed on demand to adhere to sustainability principles which means there may be a slight delay between placing your order and receiving your goods.

11/ What ongoing support willl I receive after the training? 

You will receive ongoing support through the private Practitioner Skool community, a dedicated space for continued professional growth and connection. Inside, you can access professional development resources, participate in thoughtful discussions, stay up to date with new insights and training, and connect with fellow practitioners. You will also have opportunities to engage directly with Dr Maxine Therese, ensuring you remain supported, inspired and aligned as you continue to grow your practice.

12/ What promotional support willl I receive after the training? 

Ongoing promotional support is provided to help you establish and grow your practice. This may include practitioner listing on the Childosophy website, marketing guidance, access to logos, promotion on social media and opportunities to align with broader Childosophy initiatives.

13/ Can I incude other modalities in a Childosophy session with a client? 

As a Childosophy Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner, you agree to practise only the therapeutic 10-step process as designed by Dr Maxine Thérèse. No more than approximately 10 percent of a session may include other modalities. The 10-step process must be used as a complete framework and only within the specialty you are qualified for.

14/ What is the refund policy? 

If you cancel prior to 30 June, you will be provided with a full refund minus a $100 administration fee. Cancellations after 30 June will incur a 50% charge to cover material and printing costs as all resources will have been ordered. Cancellations within 7 days of the course will incur a 100% charge.
