Childosophy Practitioner Training

Dr Maxine Thérèse

Researcher | Mother | Wisdom Teacher | Founder of Childosophy

The Childosophy™ Practitioner Training is a structured learning pathway for those seeking to support children and families with depth, clarity, and care.

Grounded in over 25 years of research and clinical practice, the training integrates developmental psychology, behavioural science, and applied frameworks to explore the relationship between children’s behaviours and their unmet foundational needs.

Delivered across three levels of learning, practitioners are introduced to the Childosophy framework, gaining a clear and practical approach to understanding children’s emotional, developmental, and relational patterns.

This training is not only about acquiring tools, but about developing reflective practice, professional insight, and the confidence to work ethically and effectively as a Childosophy practitioner.

THIS COURSE IS THE MISSING PIECE

“I’ve done many courses that focus on managing children’s behaviours, but they often felt limiting – reducing children to labels or lists of what they shouldn’t do. The Childosophy Practitioner training was completely different. Instead of trying to ‘fix’ children, it taught me how to listen deeply and understand the wisdom behind their behaviours.

Dr Maxine’s approach doesn’t shame or silence the child – it honours them. I now have the tools to get to the heart of what a child really needs, supporting them in ways that bring long-lasting change for both the child and their family.

This training has given me something I never found in other programs: a holistic, soul-led framework that respects children as whole beings. It’s the missing piece for anyone who wants to move beyond surface-level behaviour management and truly support children’s wellbeing."

Who is this certification for?

Childosophy therapy session

Therapists

For therapists, this certification adds a powerful, holistic framework to their practice. Instead of focusing only on symptoms or surface behaviours, it reveals the deeper needs driving a child’s challenges. This approach integrates seamlessly with therapeutic work, helping children feel seen and understood while giving therapists fresh tools to create lasting, soul-centred change for families.

Childosophy in the classroom

Educators

Childosophy offers a refreshing alternative to behaviour management strategies that often fall short. This program equips educators with tools to understand the deeper needs behind children’s behaviours. This not only supports calmer, more connected classrooms but also empowers educators to foster resilience, wellbeing, and authentic learning. It’s a holistic approach that honours every child’s uniqueness while supporting educators too.

Childosophy for parents

Parents

Parents love this training because it goes far beyond behaviour management. Instead of telling children what not to do, it helps parents understand the deeper needs driving their behaviours. Unlike other approaches that label or diagnose, Childosophy honours every child as whole, wise, and unique. What many parents find most powerful is that the training doesn’t just support their child – it transforms the whole family.
