Childosophy - where wonder meets wisdom, and children lead the way

As a child, Dr Maxine often felt misunderstood, curious about the unseen magic of the world and unanswered questions about the soul.

Becoming a mother in 1993 deepened her curiosity, revealing how unresolved patterns in adults surface in children and offer chances to heal generational imbalance.

While raising her own children and working in schools, she returned to study, noticing gaps in how we support children. Her research led her to present at the World Congress of Psychology and Spirituality (Delhi, 2008) and to train others in the Foundational Needs Model.

Childosophy is her groundbreaking framework for nurturing children’s emotional, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing. It unites science, psychology, epigenetics, and ancient wisdom, providing a language of needs that resonates with children while guiding adults to reflect on their own.

With over 25 years of experience guiding families, educators, and communities, Dr Maxine continues her mission: transforming how we see and respond to children, unlocking their true potential.

Today, Childosophy is more than a philosophy - it’s a movement.

Therapists, parents, educators, and practitioners are creating a new story for childhood, one that honours the whole child.
